Sapai Glai Peun Tiang Summary
I was browsing for Anne Thongprasom's Lakorn and I came across Sapai Glai Peun Tiang. Once I started watching the Lakorn, I couldn't stop watching it. A good mix of Romance and Comedy. Especially loved the scenes between the Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law, it was quiet funny to see them challenge and fight each other and also where the in laws get involved.

Summary
Anne is Cop working in the Crime Suppression Division in the big city. The story starts when Anne receives a phone call from her father informing her that her younger sister (Jane) is pregnant and she refused to reveal the father of the baby. Anne goes back to her village to talk to Jane about the guy, however she is unsuccessful in getting any information. Anne goes through her sister's stuff and finds a visiting card of Chakrit who is the owner of a Big Hotel and assumes he is the father of the baby. So she goes back to the city to confront him. She barges into a conference hosted by Chakrit and asks him to take responsibility for his sister and beats him up. Chakrit is baffled and asks security to throw Anne out of the Hotel. However when he hears who her sister is he realises that there are chances of his older brother Num being involved in this. So he confronts Num and he confesses that he is the father of the baby. Chakrit's brother is a playboy and doesn't want to take responsibility so he lies that the girl is behind his money and may not be pregnant with him. Chakrit agrees to take care of the issue for him. On the other hand Jane believes that Num is in US for some business and believes he truly loves her.
Anne does not give up and keeps trying to get Chakrit to take responsibility and beats him up. So Chakrit offers her money to deal with the issue and Anne gets more furious. After few failed attempts with Chakrit, Anne decides to confront his mother. The mother who is a High society women does not accept that Chakrit can do anything like this and chases Anne away. When she confronts Chakrit's she realises it was Num. Num lies to his mother and blames Jane for being easy and that she is behind their money. So his mother decides to take care of the issue and reports Anne to her superior. So Anne finally decides to go to Chakrit's father, who is very supportive and promises to help Anne. However Num manages to run away from home to avoid being dragged by his father to the village. Num goes to live with his current girlfriend and lies to his mother that he is staying with his friend till the issue gets sorted out.
Anne finally decides to take action and drugs Chaktit and takes him to the village where she realises that Chakrit is not her sister's lover. The mother who realises that her son is missing comes to the village to find Chakrit. Since Chakrit is not the person they are after, the family let Chakrit go.
However Chakrit's mother insults Jane and the family for chasing after their money and says she will never accept Jane as her Daughter-in-law. Chakrit's mother reports Anne for kidnapping and Anne gets suspended from work. In the meantime Chakrit has grown some interest towards Anne and he tries to follow Anne to make piece.
Anne decides to takes things into her hand and she goes to visit Chakrit in his house and drugs him and sets up as though they slept together and takes pictures of the two of them together. When Chakrit's Mom sees this she gets a shock and is upset with Chakrit. Anne asks them to choose between the pictures getting released to the press or accepting her sister as their daughter-in-law.
As Chakrit likes Anne he decides to ask Anne's hand in marriage and takes his father to the village to meet Anne's parents. Where they realise Anne's father and Chakrit's father were childhood friends.
Anne is shocked as this is not the outcome she wanted. However Anne decides to get married to solve her sister's issue and also there was a report that Chakrit's mother and her friend are involved with a casino owner who also deals in drugs. So hence starts their married life together, with lots of funny scenes and romances between Anne and Chakrit and also funny scenes with the in-laws taking revenge on each other.
The story shows how the two lead got married to win against each other eventually fall in love and have a happy ending. and also how Num takes responsibility for Jane.
